Actually, the reference to the lemming-like quality of humans was more about the emails that demand you forward it on to everyone in your address book and a few other people besides.
I actually like the interview thing, as it does give me insights on folks based on both the questions they ask and the answers they give to the questions asked of them. But I have to really know someone before I'm comfortable asking them the sort of questions that require Deep Thought™ and by then I figure I've pretty much got all the information I need. And I won't require folks to ask questions of me, since I feel that's a bit of an imposition, too.
For all that I am not shy, neither am I too forward. I don't want to say that participating in the Interview Meme is being pushy or rude, but it falls close enough to both those behaviors in my head, that I find myself uncomfortable with the concept. If that makes any sense.
